Highly visible from the AA Highway, Crossroads has a bell tower to mark the entry and recall the older schools that this one replaced. The one-story floor plan allows for easy traffic flow for students. An equipment mezzanine makes maintenance of the mechanical systems convenient for staff, yet avoids disruption for students during service to the equipment. The common spaces are grouped in the front of the building so the academic wings can be secured while allowing the public areas, such as the gym, to be utilized beyond school hours without accessibility to the entire building. This has proven to be a successful model within the district and provides a community focal point.
